Hope and despair Hope is what keeps life going. Hope makes us dream. Hope builds in patience. Life teaches us not to despair even in the darkest hour, because after every night there is a day. Nothing remains the same we have only one choice keep moving on in life, endure, and be hopeful. Through hope, in the midst of winter, we find within us an invincible summer.

MASSIVE MOAB TRIP 2009

ok so this last weekend we went down to moab with all of our friends! it was tons of fun! for the most part at least! we got down there around midnight, only turning around one time, and one 90 dollar ticket later! once we got there we found our friends and moved camp to another place, away from the other 275 people that were there! we slept under the stars and it was absolutely gorgeous! i loved every second of it! we woke up the next morning and drove back into camp and put our swim suits on and then went to sand hill. it is a big sand dune with a big 8 foot rock right inthe middle of it and we all jumped off the rock and did flips and fun things like that. and by we i mean almost everyone but me haha.

this is my dear friend matty! he is canadian. he has a motorcycle and we built our friendship off of caramel apples and climbing! he is great!

this is matt again he was participating in the longest jump contest!

this is Terence in the same contest he def won!

Terence Kip and Freddy all flipping at the same time!

These are just Terence again doing the superman move and then a last minute flip!

Ash and Chelsea jumping off the rock together!
This is the whole group of us that were at sand hill together!also at the same time Matt and Ter doing back flips off the rock at the same time!
After Sand hill and before dinner we went to a place called Ken's Lake but instead of going to the lake we hiked to the waterfall by the lake instead.

Then after dinner we did Indian's ladder.

After the ladder we went back to camp to pack up and then we went to someone's house to get ready for bed. then a few of us went Jeeping (i dont have any pictures of that sadly). but it was so scary! but SO much ore fun!there was a point when the jeep was at a 90 degree angle with the ground it felt like. so fun!! then when we got back we ate dinner and then snuck into a hotel and went hot tubbing. again no pictures :(. then went to bed and woke up early for church. went to sacrament meeting and then started our drive home! we decided to take a detour through Canyonlands. here are those pictures!
Me and Matty. the rock we are standing on was way out on the edge. there was nothing underneath the rock we are standing on except for like 50 feet down but that was is..SO COOL!
