Todd Potempa: I love this man so much! we tell him everything. he knows all my secrets and he still loves me. he only gets angry when i do stupid things. and he loves me so much! he makes me laugh, and cry, and smile and he gives me butterflies and most of all he makes me sooo happy! even though i dont see him everyday like normal couples do, i love him with all my heart! he is so wonderfully amazing..

Lexi Chatterley: THIS girl is FAN-FRIGGIN-TASTIC!!! i tell her everything..and she is always there to help me when im having a hard day. she talks me through my rough days and helps me make hard decisions...i love her so much!

i know i hardly ever post anymore but, i stumbled across a blog this morning..i absolutely love it. so much in fact, i actually forwarded a link to my family (i never forward stuff). but i really really like this one for what ever reason and it hit me.. so this is me, doing my part and forwarding it on. http://www.danoah.com/ . it is a single dad and his life..things he did or does, or sees, or experiences he has witness or gone through at one point in his life.. this is the blog entry that made me want to post to day! http://www.danoah.com/2010/09/disease-called-perfection.html . i know it is kinda long but i promise if you spent the 5-10 minutes reading the whole thing, you will feel like i do now!!
he talked about being "real" in his blog. and i want to take a minute and be "real." with all of you (the few who actually read my blog).
~I love my Parents. i have learned everything i am today from my dear mom and dad. i dont say it enough or appreciate them like i should but i owe them so much! i look to them for life examples and advice and help and guidance. they love me more than i can imagine or deserve.. thanks mom and dad for everything, especially your support and most of all your unconditional love!!
~I love my family. my big loud, intruding, prodding, wonderful, loving family! they have more love for me than i deserve or can even imagine. i look to each and everyone of them for guidance, laughs, love, support.
~I love my boyfriend Todd (i am happier with him, then i have been with anyone else in my entire life). he makes me feel so good about my self and he makes me want to try harder and be a better person. He makes me feel important in his life and i know he loves me back! we are planning on spending the rest of our lives together and eventually (years and years to come) have a family together!
~I love my friends. the ones i talk to regularly or hardly at all, the new and the old friends, the ones i see all the time and the ones i hardly ever see. you keep me laughing and crying and everything in between and i wouldnt trade or change if for anything!
~I cannot wait to take the nest big step in life and move to canada! it is going to be hard and it is going to be scary! but it is going to be a wonderful adventure.

As i was going through this SDL (Single Dad Laughing) blog, i came across a quote he saw somewhere. it said:"When you come to the end of everything you know, and the next step is into the darkness of the great unknown... you must believe one of two things. Either you will step out onto firm ground, or you will be taught to fly." i was curious who said it so i googled it. it brought me to an LDS Church blog. Im not really that surprised :). the leaders of the church are really smart and say really really wise things, whether you believe in the gospel or not there are things we can all learn from the things they say.

if we keep our heads on straight we can land on firm ground after we take that step, or we could fly!! personally? i want to FLY!!

please be real with others and with yourself!! i cant believe how great i feel today just from reading Dan's blog and posting my own..i would encourage you to do the same!

LAKE POWELL, my love

i went to lake powell with todd's family this last weekend..it was so fun. my skin feels like a sun dried tomatoes..but it was obviously so worth it :) let me show you!!
one of the first things we did when we got there was cliff jumping. i think the highest one we jumped was about 35 feet? SO FUN!!

the dogs had their own life jackets...Oakely loved his but roxey wasnt a huge fan :)

so i ended up driving home so todd could get a couple more hours of sleep, but once the sun came up he was having a hard time..so i gave him my eye thing..he said it worked really well :). plese bless he doesnt see that i posted this for everyone to see ;)

ok so on friday, me and some girls that i went to hair school are having a reunion party at my apt. i havent seen some of these girls in years! it should be tons of fun! well i am hoping anyway. lets try to keep this tears and drama free..yes? ok i think that is a good idea! it has been almost 4 years since i graduated from hair school..wow i am getting old haha. i am sure i will take and post pictures of the goings on that night after it all goes down :)

ok so there have been some requests of me posting a couple more pictures of todd...so...here you go. he is back in the state for now, for a couple months and i sill hardly get to see him but when i do, we usually have a good time. we have been officially dating for about 6 1/2 months now and unofficially a little longer (obviously). he is so great and he makes me so happy.

We were at a fam party for one of his little cousins and all the little girls got to wear these head bands, and Silvia and i had todd wear one for a little while

This is his first day of work at his new job (which i hate, cause they gave him terrible hours, which is why i never get to see him).

His fav thing in the whole world is playing hockey and he is really good! he plays defense and he also beats people up :)he is he big guy in the white, knockin the other two people over!

This actually happened the 2nd time i went up to canada, when his dad and i went up there to help him move home! This is his coach, giving him the award of playing in every single game of the season, and also he got to keep his jersey! YAY!!

so Monday night i got back from Canada. i went to see my boyfriend up there. he lives up there an plays hockey for a junior team. he is really good! anyway when he came down for christmas we made a deal (if you read my blog you would know) that if he went climbing i had to go skating..But sadly (or not so sadly) i didnt get the chance. the weekend was so jam packed with fun things that we had planned we didnt have hardly any spare time..so i guess when i go back up there in a month or so to help him move home, it will happen then. hopefully by then it wont be so blasted cold! i think it was -7 on friday when i was up there...toooooooo cold for kati!

anyway i got to see him play 2 hockey games while i was there. the first one, they lost and sadly i didnt have my camera. but the second game, i managed to remember my camera. BUT stupid me, forgot about it and it sat in my purse until like the last 5 minutes of regulation time. Lisa, the mom of the house, reminded me that it was getting close to the time that todd was going to drop the gloves and fight one of the other players..but the kid kinda wimped out! so i didnt get any good pictures and i didnt get to see any fighting! BOO!! and since the kid wouldnt fight, Todd didnt really get any good ice time in the last 5 minutes of the game or in over time so all i have is 3 pictures of him on the bench after one of his shifts that he played. but here they are anyway..

Waiting out the last few seconds of the last time out..

Details of the trip:

Wed: i left work and drove to idaho. spent the night at my friend dain's house.

Thurs: got up at 530 was out the door at 615 to drive 10 hours to canada. crossed the US border at noon and got to todd's house at 415. even though i was EXHAUSTED we went to the store to get stuff so we could make dinner for the family. we made Curry. it was great as per usual. then i went and watched him practice with his team. then we came home and relaxed watched a movie and some olympics.

Fri: woke up at 645 and had breakfast before todd went to work. went back to bed. got woken up at 12 for lunch when he came home to eat. went back to bed til about 130. got up and got ready for the day.. the family i stayed with has a set of 8 year old twin boys, and when todd got back from work we went and watched them play in their hockey game. then it was off to red deer for his tournament game. they lost 8-2. then it was off to the casino. we were the for about an hour and then it was back home to stettler. bed time!

Sat: slept in til 11ish..got up and ready and got lunch for the day. then it was off back to red deer for a movie and dinner and his 2nd hockey game. they played so much better the second game. and even though they lost, everyone was saying it was their best game of the season. "they played like a real team," everyone kept saying..they lost 4-3 in over time. which ended up being their last game :( sad day! after the game it was off to billy bob's, (a bar slash grill slash country dance place) no lie, cant gt more redneck than that! then it was back home to stettler.

Sun: slept in til 9 i think..got up had breakfast and watched olympics and waited around for the USA vs Canada hockey game. PS if you didnt know, US spanked Canada! beat them 5-3. so great! we watched the game over at a friends house..and we walked in with a huge american flag and everyone started yelling and screaming at us. after the US made their 3rd goal all the canadians we were watchin with we made, so it is a good think Todd and i had dinner plans or we would have had to finish the game with a room full of angry Canadian Hockey fans. so it was back to red deer for sushi with Steve (todd's best friend up there) and Kara (steve's girlfriend). YUM! it was good! not quite as good as state side sushi but it was good..then we went to Kara's house for a bit and hung out in the pool room and then it was back to stettler. i cried a little and then went to bed.

Mon: got up at 645 again and was on my home at 730 when todd left for work. i cried on the way home and got searched at the border and walked through the door of my apt at 1030. Man what a log day. and i am sad to say that life is back to normal..No todd, too much snow, not enough sun, and watching hockey on the olympics :). i cant wait to go back up there, cause this time he will be coming back with us!!

Ok guys, for those of you who don't know, this is Todd. we have been dating just over 3 months now :) as you may know, i am a rock climber and i have been doing that almost a year now! it is so much fun! best sport i have ever participated in. i LOVE it. anyway Todd is home, during his hockey break, for Christmas! We made a deal. Since i love climbing so much and he loves hockey so much, we are going to teach each other! so last night Todd went climbing for his first time. he did great and he only cheated a few times! so i guess it is my turn, i have to learn how to ice skate..wish me luck! this is a picture of us after a few climbs and some bouldering!

Ok so i havent blogged in a really long time. i am not as good as i used to be :) but no one really reads it anyway so it doesnt really matter :) um so i lost my camera since i went shooting, and i have no idea what i did with it...oh well. anyway i have been taking pictures on my phone and these are a few of that i have got in the last little while....

Cole, Chole, and Me

Last Friday, my ward had a christmas party and we always are asked to dress up for the party. so i put on an old prom dress and a bunch of my best girlfriends in my ward dressed up too. i dont have any pictures of them but i will get some soon and post them later. but this is me and my roommate Kat all dressed up. :)

My boyfriend plays hockey and he is coming home in a little bit and i figured that since i should be supportive, me not knowing anything about hockey, went with some of my friends to a hockey game. it was the first hockey game i have EVER been to and it was so much fun. but it is SO cold sitting there watching the game. well we were actually standing, it was too exciting to sit, so we all were standing there yelling and screaming and i caught on really fast. it is a fun game, i have been to 3 or 4 games now and each is as exciting as the one before, if not more because i know what is going on now :)
so i am still rock climbing all the time. i do it for as long as i can as often as i can. a couple nights ago austin and i were at the gym and he was trying this thing called a prusik knot. and it is used to slide your self up the rope in case for some reason your rope breaks or you cant use both sides of the rope you can climb using the one side of the rope and a little tiny piece of webbing..

i made this cake for the christmas party that we had at work. this is what i brought as the white elephant gift i was supposed to bring. i think it looks like the Charlie Brown Christmas tree. it was fun making it :)

it has been a really long time since i blogged. like 3 or 4 months or something like that..not that anyone cares or reads my blog anyway...but whatever

Ok so the other day i was invited to go shooting with the guys...i had fun and i even showed some of the guys up once or twice.. :)

after we were dont shooting jake, jason, and adam went home for the football game. Collin, danny, brody, rhett and i went back to rhetts parents house in eden. we ate lunch and bummed around up there for little while. then danny and collin went home and brody went boating and we were going to go with him but i didnt have anything i could wear in the water. so rhett and i went on a drive up to inspiration point. really pretty drive in the jeep on a 12 mile long dumpy dirt road. it was fun!!

MASSIVE MOAB TRIP 2009

ok so this last weekend we went down to moab with all of our friends! it was tons of fun! for the most part at least! we got down there around midnight, only turning around one time, and one 90 dollar ticket later! once we got there we found our friends and moved camp to another place, away from the other 275 people that were there! we slept under the stars and it was absolutely gorgeous! i loved every second of it! we woke up the next morning and drove back into camp and put our swim suits on and then went to sand hill. it is a big sand dune with a big 8 foot rock right inthe middle of it and we all jumped off the rock and did flips and fun things like that. and by we i mean almost everyone but me haha.

this is my dear friend matty! he is canadian. he has a motorcycle and we built our friendship off of caramel apples and climbing! he is great!

After the ladder we went back to camp to pack up and then we went to someone's house to get ready for bed. then a few of us went Jeeping (i dont have any pictures of that sadly). but it was so scary! but SO much ore fun!there was a point when the jeep was at a 90 degree angle with the ground it felt like. so fun!! then when we got back we ate dinner and then snuck into a hotel and went hot tubbing. again no pictures :(. then went to bed and woke up early for church. went to sacrament meeting and then started our drive home! we decided to take a detour through Canyonlands. here are those pictures!

ok so this week have been terrible and great at the same time..weird i know. my roommates left me alone all weekend. the each went to see their families. these are all the things i did to entertain my self while they were gone.
Thursday:
I cut my mama's hair..i love her

after cutting hair i played with Cannon and Jaxon for a little while..they are too cute.

On friday:
i slept in and got up around 11 and then headed to the Gym. i was there for about an hour and a half.
Got home, got ready for the day, watched a movie..Hot Rod. it was a lot funnier the second time. and bought some new music.(just as a little bit of background) all of my roommates have either the first letters of their names or their initials or something like that in their rooms. i do not so a few days ago i bought some. anyway after i bought that music and started listening to it i decide to paint the letters i bought. later that night my dear friend Randi called(please note, this pic was taken the morning after the sleepover) and we had a sleep over we had some friends over and we watched a movie in my apt. after the movie was over they left, randi and i got in my car and drove to walmart. keep in mind it is about 145 in the morning. i wanted to get twilight (the movie). so we got that, and came home and watched it while we fell asleep.
on saturday, Randi and i got up around 10. i drove to lehi and this is what happened there.i got a hair cut...i needed something different.

after taht i did a TINY bit if yard work with my family. there was a misunderstanding and i was only able to help out for about a half hour. (sorry mom) after that i went shopping with Ashlee and we went to look for our bride's maid's outfits. we found shirts for the three of us (me, Katy, and Ashlee). after ash and i were done shopping we went for a little drive through the older neighborhoods of provo. i like that part of town..love it actually. anyway we got back to my apt and apparently we were very tired because we both just fell sleep on the floor in my living room.i am under the black and white blob and ashlee is the colored one. :) after we woke up we went and picked up dinner with Katy and came back to my apt to watch a movie.
and to top off my saturday night, Katy got loked out of her apt so we broke in through the window (which is frighteningly easy), so FUNNY!!!

i had a good butt shot of ktay standing on her kitchen table after she got in but for her sake i will not out it up haha. anyway that is about it. my roommates will be home sometime this even hopefuly before rock of love. until next time.....

Glamorous Indie Rock and Roll

So some of you may know, i dont have a job anymore. i have spent a lot of my extra time at the gym, being outside if the weather is good, and bonding with my roommates. i am surprised at myself for the little amount of time i spend in front of the TV. i am proud to say that it is NEVER on during the day. if the TV comes on it usually isnt until around 7 at night..and even then, sometimes, i get bored of it. i dont really know why i am blogging right now, because i dont really have anything to say or a story to tell or anything. But because of the beautiful weather we had yesterday, my roommies and i spent the majority of the afternoon outside. after stake conference we went up the canyon but couldn't find a warm spot to eat our picnic so..we drove back down and headed to the park by walmart. ate our lunches and took some AWESOME pictures. then came home sat for a minute. decided it was too early to turn on the tv so B&L and me went for a walk. after that is was still nice outside so Linds and i went to another park with our books. but once the sun went down it got cold fast so we were the a grand total of like 7 minutes so we came home had an AMAZING talk with my dear friend Ashlee. then sat down and spent some quality sunday evening time watching Rock of Love (try not to judge me). anyway these are some of the pix we took at the park. enjoy..

So our apt flooded! we have had workers there for like the last week and a half is fixing it up and drying out the carpet and everything, taking down dry wall, putting it back up, cutting out the padding under the carpet, putting it back...anyway it is supposed to be done today so i decided, as a thank you, to make them some cookies or brownies....i decided on the cookies. so i put them in the oven, and i dont think the oven timer works so i looked at my phone so i would know when to take them out of the oven...it was 9-11 minutes just in case you care to know. so as i am waiting there is nothing on tv so i go to my bed room and turn on some friends. laugh for a minute and then decided to hop in the shower real fast...no big deal right? well i get out and i am combing through my hair and Brooke yells "KATI?!?!?!?!" and i yell back "WHAT!!!" and open the door to my bedroom and i am BLASTED with a mouth full of smoke! i am suck and IDIOT!!!!! hahaha so we brooke pulled the cookies out while open all the doors and windows in the apt (Brooke is such a gem). so we left the door/windows open for about 20 minutes while the smoke cleared and then we went to inspect the damages. the cookies look like flat pieces of coal with little chunks of coal in them. (chocolate chip cookies was what i was aiming for)...brooke came up with a genius plan to deliver the bad ones to someone as a joke...we just dont know who to deliver them to...any ideas anyone? anyway here is the finished product.

oh and just in case you were wondering i made another batch for the workers along with a note that said:
"to the men at work. thanks for everything. enjoy.

ok so i was driving up to my brother's house (matt), so we could head up to work. and i see this mini van coming up fast behind me so i kindly moved into the middle lane to get out of her way and as she was passing me i looked over and i remember saying out loud..."what the....?" this is what i saw....

i dunno if you can see it but her steering wheel is on the left side...when she passed me it threw me off and i just felt toooooooo close to her...it was a "what the crap?" anyway....

i have something else to obsess over. for the next few days at least. LOST starts back up on wednesday. i was lookin around on the internet and i found this spoiler. Ana Lucia will be returning in season 5. i am very disappointed! i didnt like her! in fact i hated her character. she was rude, bossy, and very _______ i cant think of a word to put there...but i didnt like her!! i also learned a few months ago that Claire will not be returning this season. but will be back for the 6th and final season. sad day! anyway here are some pix to get you just as excited as i am! let the count down begin.

people's choice and results

ok so last night i was watching the People's Choice Awards and i am proud to say, i was able to vote for some of the nominee's. but they had closed the voting on a few of the polls so i was only able to vote for some of them. anyway i am super excited to say that Batman: The Dark Night director/cast took home 5 of the awards. they were nominated for 5 awards and took them all! Christian Bale dedicated the last award to his co-star Heath Ledger.

and now for the results part...i was making my daily trip to People.com and USmagazine.com, and i made a discovery that Taylor Lautner won the part of Jacob Black on New Moon....Lautner told the directors that if he won the part he would try to gain 20lbs before they start filming. i dont know how he is going to fix the getting taller thing...i am now waiting to see if he can improve on his acting skills...

ok you guys! it has been a little while i have seen Twilight 3 times and i cannot wait for it to hit the dollar theater! dont even worry about it i will see it again and again once it does. i cant wait. ok BREAKING NEWS!!! New Moon Hits theaters November 20th of this year..it is already on my calendar at work and in my phone! the issue here is they cannot figure out who to play Jacob Black (the werewolf who isnt a werewolf, who is really a shape shifter).

now, they could use Taylor Lautner, who played Jacob last time but he just isnt big enough, and doesnt look old enough to play the roll. he is only 18 and is supposed to look 25 according to the book. he has previously been seen in Cheaper by the Dozen 2. If he gets this roll, it will be the only film me is working on. apart from the horrible acting, i didnt like jacob in twilight because of his long hair but in the second book he cuts it, so hopefully it wouldnt be an issue in New Moon.

Or they could Use Michael Copon. he is 26, so he already fits the bigger and older part. he was previously seen on Bring it on 3:in it to win it (i never saw that one, so i cant judge). if he gets this roll, it will be the 7th film he is working on right now...so that, to me, proves he is a better actor. however i HATE it when they switch around the characters in the sequels...

I am torn...what do you think?

um i dont know where to begin...i have so much to blog about and i probly wont get to it all and it probly doesnt matter to half of you. so if you dont care then go ahead and just stop reading now :) we wont judge you i promise...

anyway! i am so excited for 2009 to begin! i will be spending new years down with some of my very best friends in some of their home town the one, the only, cedar city! i am so excited to go down there and have fun! none of us know what we are going to do once we are down there but i am excited to be with them and just relax! me and cali will be driving down together new years eve and its gonna be fun!!

ok 2..i have a new celebrity crush! you probly dont care but i like him :)his name is kellan! Kellan Lutz and we can pretend he is my boyfriend!

moving on to number 3 (we will see if i can remember everything). i am so excited for the next few upcoming weeks i get to spend with my family! i am so excited to see lisa home from california. i am excited for our traditional Christmas Eve as a family. but mostly i am excited to go home for a few days with out work or anything else that could stress me out.

cuatro. i am not even close to having my christmas shopping done...no where close!!

5 i am going to temple square on friday night to see the lights :) first time this year i am excited!!

movies! i love everything to do with them! i have seen a lot of movies in the last 3 weeks and i love it. TWILIGHT i am still disgustingly obsessed and i dont care. i saw the movie opening night at midnight and i am trying to go again..finding time and someone to go with is the problem...i have 2 people wanting to go (my sis Jen, and friends ashlee) lets get the ball rolling guys and go....i also saw 4 Christmases. haaaaahaha that is a good laugh. i love vince vaughn. and i like reese witherspoon a lot too...they did perfect in the movie! i think the opening seen was my favorite! really funny! i saw the new 007 movie as well! super good! full of action and i think i jumped once and i know i was holding my breath at some parts! super great!!! and last but most defiantly not least, i saw the dark night for the 4th time. granted it was in the dollar theater this last time but it still counts (cali i decided dollar theater movies count). and it was really good this time again. first time was _______ (there are no words). 2 time was excellent i was more concentrated on heath ledges performance the second time through. 3 time was super long, and the 4th it was good all over again! i am still wanting to see australia, every time i see previews for it i get goose bumps!

i dont think there is anything else!

i have so much to be thankful for!! a lot to be thankful for that i take i take for granted. i lot i have to be thankful for that i do express gratitude for...

i am thankful for for my mom and dad, my siblings, my nieces and nephews. for my friends in my ward: cali, ken, bree, krista, france. i am grateful for my roommates, katy and becki(also in the family category), and my bunk-mate brooke. Also my cousin maggie and my best friend jes. i am thankful for the examples they all have shown me and the love they all have given me!!

i am now grateful for the material things...my car, my job, my pillow, ok well all of my pillows all 6 of them i have in my bed every night, my clothes(so glad we dont have to go around naked)my apartment, my home(house in lehi, mostly glad i have a home to go home to that is so close). i am grateful for all the "stuff" i have in my life that makes life more comfortable.

i am grateful for the gospel and that i was able to be raised in a very LDS community...it is hard to picture where i would be in life if i wasnt raised the way i was...i am glad i have the chance to go to church each week. and how close we are to temples. and that we have the opportunity to hear from our prophet and apostles regularly.

i know i am missing a lot but i just wanted you all to know some of the things i am grateful/thankful for. i hope everyone that reads this has a good thanksgiving, and he safe if you go out shopping on black friday!

i was listening to the radio the other day and they were doing a report about Kristen Stewart (bella) that she has turned into a huge diva from all the fame and she is just rude to everyone...anyway they were on the set (they= i have no idea) and Kristen was throwing a fit about something and was walking away backwards and there was a pool behind her and sadly the pool did not have water in it and she walked over backwards into the pool and landed on her back...i dont know how true this is but they supposedly had to stop filming for like 2 or 3 weeks...i just decided right now that i dont believe it...but i thought i would share it anyway :)

ok as i have told you....i am obsessed! no shame....ok so i was taking this quiz about the book to find out which twilight character i was...the first time i took it i was carlisle (the daddy vamp). then there was a caption below his picture describing me. it said :

Ok so here is a funny story that just happened to happen on Halloween Weekend! so we went on a Dr. Pepper run! like we do a few times a week! i mean seriously that stuff is AMAZING!!! anyway! we got in my car and and Brooke climbed in the front seat and Garrett in the back (please keep in mind i am laughing while i type out this story for all of you to enjoy as well). before i even got my car Ruby started Gar picked up my mannequin from the back seat ( the head has a sweatshirt on) and slowly inched her towards Brooke's arm that was on the arm rest between the 2 front seats! i hear Brooke scream and before i even wait to look at what she is screaming at i scream bloody murder as well (HAHAHA i am laughing so hard right now, in real life)!!! there are 2 things that went through my head before i realized what was going on. 1. there was another man hiding out in the back seat and he had done something to kill Garrett, 2. there was a spider or some kind of bug that is 100 times the size it should be and it was right by Brooke! then as soon as Brooke and i stopped screaming we all started laughing SOOOOOOOO hard! oh man my sides hurt! it was so funny! and it is hurting again because i am laughing now! just picture it! me sitting in my quite office and you hear little bursts of explosive laughter! let me tell you, it is all very exciting :) i love it!

this is embarrassing...i got this email from my friend Jes...i looked at it and laughed pretty hard and so i forwarded it to someone in th office...he laughed but was a little weirded out but the picture...so we had a laugh and then i forwarded it to Matt (my brother). a few minutes later i got an email in my work folder and so i switched over there to check it out and it was an email back from a guy i work with out of state who's name is Matt Sloan (who is not my brother). I was so embarrassed. luckily his reply to my forwarded email was "LOL. I love it!". i am just glad he had a sense of humor. this is what i forwarded him....

ok you might think i am and you are probably right! but i am reading the twilight series for the 3rd time! i wanted to read them all again before the movie came out! i finished the 1st on this morning at work at am almost 100 pages into the second already!

it is one of those things i cant get enough of! i love every minute of it!! the second book is my least favorite in the series of 4. sadly i only just started it this morning! hopefully i can get through it pretty fast! but there has to be something about them i didnt like, right? anyway as i was online checking the website, (something i do on a regular basis) i discovered the new and final trailer for the movie that comes out on NOVEMBER 21st! i can hardly stand it! i am going to have to go through a few days disappointment again waiting for it. anyway i wanted to share it with those of you who enjoy the books too.

ok so if you dont know, i have been studying the last few weeks to take my cosmetology test so i can get my hair license (FINALLY). so he is a time line for you just to let you know how this last week has gone.

Friday Sept. 26 i scheduled my test for Oct. 3 (today).

Saturday Sept. 27 studied a little in the morning.

Monday Sept. 29 Studied at work in spare time. i went to Ben and Alison's house and watched TV and then studied until 11:30 or so.

Tuesday Sept. 30 Studied at work for a few hours and in my spare time and studies for about 45 minutes that night

Wednesday Oct. 1 studied at work

Thursday Oct 2. Studied at work. I went through almost 100 pages in my review book trying to cram for the test. that night i did 3 peoples hair and had 2 of them read the questions to me as i did their hair so i was still studying. watched 2 episodes of friends with brooke and then studied until Midnight.

FRIDAY OCTOBER 3
i wake up ready for the test! i get ready and as i am walking out the door i had a little trouble finding my keys so i was digging through my purse and i found the papers with all my testing info on them and i looked them over one last time to make sure i had the address right! as i am looking i see the date was 10/01!!! i cant understand what happened, how it happened or why it happened!! all i know is how frustrated i got. i dissolved into tears! my poor roommates, they probably have no idea what this was such a big deal to me! well i know becki does but brooke and katy i dont think do. just to fill you in. i have now spent $399.00 on a test i have paid for 5 times now and only taken 2 times, and still not passed. you need a 75% to pass. the first time i took it i got a 72%. the second time i got a 74%. you can imagine getting the results back and missing it by 1%. needless to say i was not happy.

after i got a small hold on my emotions i got on the internet to schuedle this test to be taken so i paid for the test again and when i was getting ready to sing up for a date the website shut me out (for reasons unknown). i'm thinking "not a big deal i will stop by the testing center and schuedle a time in person." i get there and the (please insert a sarcastic tone) ever so sweet and caring lady sitting behind the counter told me i had to do it on the internet or on the phone. i exhaled very loudly trying not to cry again, and walked out with out saying another word to her. got in my car called my loving mother (no sarcasticness) explained what was going on and started to cry again. i told her that maybe this wasnt meant to be. because it hasnt worked out so far and so maybe it wasnt supposed to happen at all. (which isnt what i want i was just being a little pesimistic). my mom calmly told me that it is just part of the test of getting through this and getting this over with. so i decided to take her side of this bad situation. what is done is done and there is nothing i can do about it now. i just need to move on get this over with.

so 400 dollars later i am planning to take the october 6. so everyone who reads this, PLEASE say your prayers that this will go smoothely and that i will pass this dang test! wish me luck!

The top 5 things i did this summer as follows, in no particulay order:

1. i love my calling!! i dont know how much longer i will have it because of the semester change and every one moving around but i hope iget to keep it! mainly because i felt i did a good job and i dont know how well i would do in the class room with people over the age of 8 so hopefully i get to keep this one (knock on wood) anyway this is a pic of our family home evening group right before we wasted the other team in the marshmallow fight!!!2. the Jack Johnson concert! jes and i saved a seat for Russell (i guy in my ward) and his bro and sis and so they say by us and it was a party!
3. the night at the fountain! Shoot i have not had that much fun in a long time! becki posted it on her blog too! but krista (the colorful headband) bought these headbands and we put them on and quickly rushed to the park! it seemed the obvious thing to do, naturaly! so we went to the park and took pictures and splashed in the fountain! so fun
4. brian regan! self explanatory! one of the funniest nights of my life! good thinking jes and bryce! good plan
5. my family reunion! we went to Yuba! so fun! the "little girls" on the tube. sarah and i both had battle wounds! but so fun...i was a little scared toget on again but the other two were brave!!!

OH yeah dont worry, there was 20000 people there waiting for jack johnson to come and serenade us. the only thing taht would have made this better, is if i dint have a hang over the next morning from all the weed. but i am not gonna lie. it was worth it :)

I caved and finally got a blog i dont know why...well i actually do! i got it so i can keep track of all my friends and family and all their blogs! i think it will be a little easier that way instead of searching through emails to look at them when i wanna look! ( mandy...) and opening their instant messenger (Lori) hahaha so i am getting my own. blah blah blah so there we go!
